Ubisoft has announced and confirmed the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Wrath of the Druids expansion to release next month on April 29. In addition, the Season 2 Ostara Season has now begun which brings in exclusive narrative content and in-game events for players.

The Wrath of the Druids expansion will allow you to journey to Ireland and unravel the mysteries of an ancient and mysterious druidic cult, tracking and discovering their members. You will have to fight your way through haunted forests and dazzling landscapes while gaining influence among Gaelic kings.

In celebration of Spring, the limited-time Ostara Festival brings in new challenges and rewards. This is the first update of the Ostara Season which invites players to play a new in-game event that will run until April 8 in the dedicated area of Ravensthorpe.

The Ostara Festival will contain various Easter-themed festivities that include:

  • Settlement decoration activity
  • Drinking, Archery, and Fighting mini-games
  • Three new character quests: Eivor can enjoy an Egg Hunt, the May-Queen celebration, and protect the settlement against night spirits
  • Three new skills: Fearless Leaper lets Eivor land a mastered falling attack atop enemies, while the Raven’s Loot and Loot Food skills increase Eivor’s efficiency when at range or fighting close-up
  • Exclusive rewards including settlement decorations and customization items

Players wondering how they can experience the festival can do so by reaching England and complete of the first narrative arcs, either the Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire. This will automatically trigger the festival when they visit the settlement. On the other hand, to access the May-Queen activity, players’ settlement must be at level 3.

Players can also change Eivor’s gear appearance with visual customization, which is better known as transmogrification or Change Appearance in the game. Ubisoft has also announced to give players the Altair’s outfit in celebration of the game’s community. The outfit comes with the Yule Gear Set, and 300 opals for free.

Two future updates will add more content for Ostara Season, including:

  • Mastery Challenge: A second update will add a new game mode building on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s core combat mechanics, bringing a highly replayable combat experience. A Master arrives at the settlement, inspiring Eivor to train and perfect challenges to become a Master.
