Game of Thrones actors Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey have joined HBO’s The Last Of Us TV series, where Bella Ramsey has been confirmed to portray Ellie. Both the actors have been a big part of the Game of Thrones series.
Both actors have been part of the same Game of Thrones TV series on HBO. Bella Ramsey played the role of the fierce Lyanna Mormont, while Pedro Pascal played Oberyn Martell the Red Viper. With the announcement, we now have both the main characters for Ellie and Joel.

Pedro Pascal is no stranger to big roles in hit tv shows like Narcos, and the recent Disney’s The Mandalorian. There has been a lot of speculations in regards to who should be playing the role of Joel in the TV adaption of the gaming franchise. Some fans voiced their opinions on another Game of Thrones character who played the role of Jamie Lannister, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who without a doubt has the most resemblance with Joel in the game.
Other fans also wanted Hugh Jackman to play the role, again going with how similar the actor looks to Joel. Having said that, people might still have a neutral reaction to the announcement of both the actors for Ellie and Joel.
The Last of Us TV series was announced last March in 2020, being created by Neil Druckmann from the Chernobyl series. the TV series will cover the complete events of the first game and additional content might be added to the series based on the upcoming sequel The Last of Us – Part II. The Last of Us is one of the most successful franchises in PlayStation’s history so the show has a huge reputation to uphold.
The executive producers of the TV series will be Carolyn Strauss along with Evan Wells who is the president of Naughty Dog. The TV series is the first project of PlayStation Productions together with Sony Pictures Television.
