Genesis has revealed a new Ultralight Mouse named Krypton 550 and it weighs only 70 grams. The Krypton 550 has a honeycomb body design and an ergonomic shape. It features built-in memory and a sensor that features an 8,000 DPI sensitivity. The mouse also has RGB lighting throughout the entire mouse.
The Genesis Krypton 550 Ultralight gaming mouse comes in both a black or white version and both variants feature the PixArt PMW 3325 sensor. This sensor has a maximum sensitivity of 8,000 DPI and it makes this mouse perfect for FPS gamers with its lightweight honeycomb body. This gaming mouse features the ability to track movements with speeds of up to 100 inches per second as well.
The outer casing weighs only 70 grams which is possible due to the honeycomb design which helps keep the overall weight lower when compared to other gaming mice on the market. The Genesis Krypton 550 mouse features a total of 7 buttons that use the Huano Switches that features a lifetime of 20 million clicks and a low actuation pressure of only 80 grams of force.
All 7 buttons on the mouse are programmable and can be mapped according to user preference. It also gives users the ability to assign different macros to each button. The mappings can be easily saved in the built-in memory which can hold your macros and custom functions mapped to different buttons. Onboard memory will allow these saved settings will work on any computer without the need to install additional software.
The RGB on the Krypton 550 can be customized as well using the Genesis Software. The by default PRISMO effect is also pleasing for the eyes. This gaming mouse connects to your computer through a 1.8-meter USB braided cable. The Krypton 550 Lightweight Gaming Mouse is stated to be available in the second half of October and is said to have a cost of $36.99.
