XPG has revealed its brand new GAMMIX S70 PCIe Gen4x4 M.2 2280 SSD. The SSD is the latest addition in their lineup of Gen4 SSDs which include the GAMMIX S50 and S50 Lite as well. ADATA’s XPG lineup is their premium gaming lineup and the GAMMIX S70 delivers unmatched read and write performance and has the distinction of being the world’s fastest M.2 SSD.
The XPG new GAMMIX S70 PCIe Gen 4 SSD also hosts a custom heatsink design for better cooling and will be able to sustain higher read and write speeds for longer periods of time. The GAMMIX S70 has a read/write speed of up to 7400/6400 MB per second, which makes it one of the fastest NVMe SSD available for consumers.
The GAMMIX S70 is NVMe 1.4 compatible and supports Dynamic SLC Caching. For added ease of use and convenience, the S70 is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0. The XPG GAMMIX S70 has the CoolArmor heat spreader design and the aluminum heat spreader features a terraced structure, featuring multiple layers for increased surface area and hollow chambers underneath.
This cooler design helps with more effective heat dissipation that can reduce temperatures by up to thirty percent. This new Gen 4 SSD also features LDPC error correcting code technology to detect and fix a comprehensive range of data errors for more accurate data transmissions and a higher Total Bytes Written (TBW) rating.
It also has several security features including End-to-End (E2E) Data Protection and AES 256-bit Encryption which ensures the integrity and security of your data. The GAMMIX S70 comes in 1TB and 2TB variants and is backed by a 5-year warranty. Since ADATA has not yet shared pricing, we will have to wait to find out the cost of this SSD.
