Dreamlight Games has announced that a new free Survival Edition Update will arrive next week for its previously released horror game Fear the Dark Unknown. The new update will add brand new features and content to the game. Fear the Dark Unknown was released at the end of 2019 and Dreamlight Games has been releasing post-launch updates for the game regularly.
According to the developer, the Survival Edition update will add a lot of new features to the game. Some of these additions include major improvements to some of the already existing features of the game as well. The new update will majorly improve the graphics of the game as a brand new ‘Ultra’ quality level will be added to the lightning tab. New Playable Sequences that were not previously part of the game will also be added to the game.
Along with this, enemy AI will receive major improvements making them even more challenging to tackle in the game. To handle the new and improved AI enemies, you will also get a brand new defense move as well in which you will use a knife to get rid of zombies trying to kill you. Players will also be able to choose different difficulty levels now to make the game more playable now. The game also comes with plenty of puzzles so if players do not want to spend too much time on solving these puzzles, they can adjust their difficulty accordingly and choose to focus more on game progress.
In Fear the Dark Unknown, you play as James and Chloe who must explore the Beresford Mansion and try to unravel its mysteries. The duo must try to find out what happened to Emma Sullivan, wife of James and mother of Chloe. Both of them come with their own unique stories and you can experience the game differently from both of their perspectives.
