GT Sport is Getting a February 2020 Update Which Brings 3 New Cars, 7 GT League Rounds

GT Sport February 2020 Update

Polyphony Digital has announced and detailed the February 2020 update for GT Sport and this time around, players will be getting just 3 new cars along with 7 new GT League rounds. Sadly, the list of new cars is much smaller this month as compared to the last month and we don’t have any new track as well. Apart from this, no new Scrap locations or Track Experiences are coming in the new update as well.

February 2020’s update will arrive in the form of Patch 1.53 which was detailed on the official PlayStation Blog by none other than Polyphony Digital’s president Kazunori Yamauchi. The featured car in this update is the 2010 Aston Martin DBR9 GT1 which will join other track cars in the Gr.3 category. The other two cars included in the update are 2008 Fiat 500 1.2 8V Lounge SS and 1996 Nissan 180SX Type X.

Apart from the Aston Martin DBR9 GT1, the new update is not bringing much excitement this month to the game. Nissan 180SX Type X is a good car for drifters however the Fiat 500 is not going to do much in the game apart from some fun races with other cars of similar size in the game. Apart from the new cars, the only other addition coming to the game are the 7 additional GT League rounds. It looks like Polyphony is winding up on content since the next-generation is almost upon us.

The new GT League rounds coming in the new update include:

  • Beginner League: 2 new rounds added to the FR Challenge
  • Amateur League: 2 new rounds added to the Group 3 Cup
  • Professional League: 2 new rounds added to the Lamborghini Cup
  • Endurance League: 1 new round added to the X2019 Competition Endurance Series
