Ubisoft has announced the dates and the total prize pool for its upcoming eSports event Six Invitational 2020. Six Invitational is all set to launch on February 7, 2020, with a massive prize pool of $3,000,000. A selection of the top 16 Rainbow Six Siege teams will take part in the game’s premier eSports event and try to become the World Champion in the 2020 edition of Six Invitational.
This is the fourth edition of Six Invitational and it will bring together fans, developers, content creators and professional players from all over the world to celebrate one of the highest-rated competitive FPS of this generation. The event will start on February 7, 2020, and it will run all the way to February 16, 2020, in Montreal, Canada where Rainbow Six Siege was developed. The event will also feature exclusive news about Year 5 Rainbow Six Siege directly from the development team.
Six Invitational 2020 has the biggest prize pool cap of the event until now of $3,000,000. It has 30% of all revenue from the ‘Road to S.I. 2020’ Battle Pass contributing to this massive prize pool. The in-game event Road to S.I. 2020 is currently live in Rainbow Six Siege and it will continue until February 16, 2020, and everyone can take part in the action if they want to. - February 7-9: Offline* Group stage starts.
- February 11-12: First two days of the Offline* Playoffs take place.
- Friday, February 14 (11:30 am EST) to Sunday, February 16 (9:00 pm EST): The last two days of the Playoffs and the Finals will take place at the venue.
*Offline: Not open to the public.
All Six Invitational matches will be streamed live on Ubisoft’s Twitch, YouTube and Mixer. Apart from the eSport event, the platform will also give developers a chance to share with the fans plans of Year 5 game updates which includes the upcoming Operation, insights from the development team behind the game and dedicated panels at the event.

During the main Six Invitational 2020 event, Ubisoft will also host the Road to SI – Creators Cup. This special cup is dedicated to charity and players will be able to see creators from around the world compete with each other for a charity prize pool of $20,000 CAD.
