Google has officially announced the release date of its upcoming gaming platform Google Stadia. According to Google, Stadia is releasing on November 19, 2019. Google Stadia is Google’s upcoming video game streaming service which allows you to stream and play your favorite games anywhere you go. With a Google Chromecast device, access to the internet and any type of screen, you can play your favorite games anywhere you go without the need for any console.
Google has released a brand new trailer that reveals the release date of the platform and it also shares information about the platform for any player who is still confused as to what the platform is all about. The video starts with a basic introduction to the service. It is essentially a video streaming service that gives players access to their favorite games without any need for physical hardware. Players can use any of their devices which include TVs, mobile devices, tablets, and desktop computers.
All they need is an active internet connection. Since no physical hardware is required to play Stadia, players will still need to purchase the games they want to play just like any other eStore. However, there is no download required after the purchase. Once the title has been purchased, players can immediately start streaming it and play the game on their favorite device.
Mark your calendars! Stadia will start arriving November 19.

Stadia also allows the flexibility to pause the game on one device and pick up another device to continue the game from the exact same spot on which you left the game on the first device. This allows great freedom to players. Similar to PS Plus and Xbox Live Gold, players can subscribe to Google Stadia Pro which is a premium service and gives players access to 4K resolution and 5.1 surround sound. They will also regularly get free games as part of the service.
However, before you jump to purchase Google Stadia Pro, you should know that earlier, Google Stadia director of product Andrey Doronichev stated that Google Stadia Pro will be missing essential features at launch. Features like mods and achievements will be missing and will be added later. Family Sharing will also arrive later sometime in 2020.
