The fifth mission in Zombie Army 4: Dead War is Rotten Coast and across the course of all chapters of the mission, you will find plenty of collectibles. You will find different collectibles in each chapter of the mission and we have detailed all of them below.
There are five unique types of collectibles in Zombie Army 4: Dead War. You can collect Documents and Comic Pages as well as Upgrade Kits. Apart from these, you will often find rogue Zombie Hands running around which can only be collected by shooting them. The final collectible in the game is Heroic Acts. These are special situations in the game where you will be required to assist and save survivors. You must save the survivors in order to collect this collectible type.

Chapter 1
This section of the guide details the locations of all collectibles found in Chapter 1 of Mission 5 Rotten Coast.
Collectible # 1 – Document
In the safe zone right at the start of the chapter, continue ahead until you see a ladder leading up to a small sleeping area. This is inside the safe house near the workbench in the middle. Go up the ladder and pick up the document sitting at the top.
Collectible #2 – Zombie Hand
After you drop down in the main fighting zone and the objective changes to ‘Find the Explosives’, make your way straight ahead towards a crumpled structure and enter it. Reach the corner and then turn around to look at the roof of the structure which will be covered in grass. The zombie hand is running around here. Shoot it and add it to your collection.
Collectible #3 – Comic Page
Now go back towards your safe zone and go right where the electrified fences are located. Keep going right and you will find a small shed next to some logs blocking the passage. Head inside the shed and you will find the Comic Page.
Collectible #4 – Upgrade Kit
Continue back to the mission and you will be tasked with heading towards the Resistance compound. When you are just outside the compound and just have to climb in, stick to the right and go on the road ahead next to the destroyed tank. Keep going ahead and you will find a small shed with some blocked windows. Use the door to enter and you will find the Upgrade Kit inside sitting on a bench.
Chapter 2
This section of the guide details the locations of all collectibles located in the Chapter 2 of Mission 3 Rotten Coast.
Collectible #5 – Comic Page
Right at the start of the chapter, you will find yourself going down some stairs. Go down and then turn left to find yourself in a large underground room with some boxes in the far right end. Head towards this end and you will find the Comic Page sitting right next to these boxes.
Collectible #6 – Heroic Act
Keep playing the game and you will soon be introduced to a brand new enemy type Suicide General. Kill the Suicide General and you will save the survivors on the ground. However, your task is not done yet. Go to the right and enter the tower and reach the top where you will find another survivor. Destory the Zombie Halftrack and survive the zombie horde and ensure that the survivor does not die to complete the Heroic Act.
Collectible #7 – Upgrade Kit
After completing the previous Heroic Act, you will get access to a locked chest right next to the survivor which will give you an Upgrade Kit.
Collectible #8 – Zombie Hand
Now that you’ve survived the horde, go back down the tower and then go left to the area which is a little out of the way. Keep going left and then turn right at the end to reach a dead end with a wrecked car. Turn left here and you will have a little more area where you will find the Zombie Hand. Reach the end of this area where you will find an overturned car. Check the railing on the top of this overturned car and you will find a Zombie Hand running around. Shoot it to collect it.
Collectible #9 – Document
Now go back to the main path and follow all the way to exit of the safehouse but do not exit just yet. Check the small building room in front of this exit and you will find a document sitting inside on a table next to a lamp.
Collectible #10 – Upgrade Kit
Now go back towards the exit door but instead of exiting, turn right and go all the way to the end. You will notice that there is only one building on the left which has an open door. Go inside this building and make your way up the stairs. You will find an Upgrade Kit sitting on a table on the first floor.
Chapter 3
This section of the guide details the locations of all the collectibles found in Chapter 3 of Mission 5 Rotten Coast.
Collectible #11 – Comic Page
In chapter 3, while heading towards the Chain Ferry, go towards the dock where a large ship is lying on its side and on one of the broken piers, you will find the Comic Page sitting on the wooden railing.
Collectible #12 – Zombie Hand
Now go back to the area which you crossed earlier to reach this dock and you will find a statue in the middle which has path leading towards the right under a wooden bridge. This is also the main path of the mission. Cross the crooked bridge and the instantly turn around to find a Zombie Hand running around on the top of the bridge. Shoot it to collect it.
Collectible #13 – Document
Still on the path for the Chain Ferry, you will come across a locked fence door which requires a key. Before opening this door, check the building on the opposite side and use the stairs to go inside it. You will need to climb a few wooden platforms as well. Once inside, you will find the document sitting right in front of you on a table.
Collectible #14 – Upgrade Kit
While heading towards the Communication Dish, jump in the marsh and go around the building which has the controls for the Communication Dish. Keep going around the building and you will notice a small barn in the distance illuminated with a single light. Head towards this barn and you will find the Upgrade Kit sitting inside on a box.
Chapter 4
This section of the guide details the locations of all collectibles located in Chapter 4 of Mission 5 Rotten Coast.
Collectible #15 – Upgrade Kit
In the underground flooded catacombs, head towards the exit but after you make the last turn where you see some zombies coming towards you, turn around quickly and check the right side to find an Upgrade Kit sitting there.
Collectible #16 – Document
Keep playing the chapter and you will be tasked with activating a Blood Fountain. Before you do that, enter the garden and quickly turn to the left, go up the stairs and you will find a document sitting on a stone bench with some candles on it.
Collectible # 17 – Comic Page
Now go back to the main path where you came from and enter the stone arch leading to the left side. You will arrive in a marsh with a lone statue in the middle. Head to the statue and you will find the Comic Page sitting at its base.
Collectible #18 – Zombie Hand
Right after you collect the last Comic Page, some zombies will spawn. Kill them but remain near this very statue. While facing the statue, turn around at about 80 degrees and use your scope to locate a crooked tree. A zombie hand is running around at the base of this tree. Shoot it to collect it.
