There are three main ways you can deal damage to zombies besides just shooting at them with bullets. Weapons come with various upgrades that give your ammo incendiary, electric, explosive damage effects. For example, an upgrade on your M1 Garand allows you to equip an incendiary mod on your weapon to deal with fire damage.

Shielded Fortress Build

Run ‘n Gun Build

This build is best for you if you like to keep moving and have the best options to take down enemies. This build will focus on everything that will keep you light, nimble, but still effective in taking out zombies.

For this build you need the following:

  • Secondary Weapon: MP44, Thompson
  • Special Melee: Machete Slash
  • Perks: Vampirism, Enhanced Stamina, Rejuvenation, Machine Gun Ammo Pouch
  • Item Mods: Artillery Fire Mod B, Frag Grenade Mod A
