Werewolf The Apocalypse Heart of the Forest is set to release this month for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on February 24, 2021. The award-winning title is a narrative adventure that the first-ever adaptation of the legendary tabletop RPG from the World of Darkness universe.

The game was released last year in October 2020 for PC, while the publisher already hinted a console release in the near future. The PlayStation 4 version of the game supports PlayStation 4 Pro with 4K display mode and is future compatible with the PlayStation 5 systems. The Xbox One Edition also fully supports backward compatibility and will run on the Xbox Series X|S consoles.
In the game, you play as Maia, who is trying to learn about her ancestry and to discover her family’s dark secrets. The adventure game is inspired by true events and set in real places: The Puszcza, AKA the Bialowieza Forest, Europe’s last primeval wilderness.

We have already played the game on PC last year where we gave it a 9/10 in our review for the game. Though a short game, it is a fantastic experience and the multitude of endings and approaches to the ending means that it calls for various playthroughs.
