Walkabout Games and Different Tales bring a standalone new chapter in the critically acclaimed Wanderlust series called Wanderlust: Transsiberian to Android devices via Google Play.
The story of the game involves two men who embark on a trip to the easternmost reaches of Eurasia onboard the longest railway line in the world. You as the player will control Henry, a professional photographer, and experience this journey in your own individual way. Every choice changes the perception of the situation, which allows for wholly unique and deeply personal playthroughs.
It’s the fall of 2010. Two men board the Trans-Siberian railway. They have 9,289 km to go from Moscow to Vladivostok, and it might be just enough time for them to finally start being honest with each other.
Make this hour-long standalone adventure your introduction to the acclaimed Wanderlust: Travel Stories anthology, or expand the grand journey from the base game.
The new android game will be a standalone follow up to Wanderlust: Travel Stories, a critically acclaimed title in the series. Just like the base game, it was written in collaboration with experienced globetrotters to invoke and reflect the real emotions of travel. Transsiberian can serve both as a great introduction into the franchise or as an expansion to the grand adventure of the original title.
The creators of Wanderlust are Artur Ganszyniec and Jacek Brzeziński, Lead Writer and Lead Designer of The Witcher and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, who had also worked on the Dead Island series, Dying Light and Hitman.
Wanderlust: Travel Stories has won the Baltic Sea Game Award in Best Game Narrative, Digital Dragons’ Best Mobile Indie Game and Community Vote, was in the Official Selection of IndieCade Europe, and was nominated to Polityka’s Passports, one of the most prestigious cultural awards in Poland.
