Ubisoft Will Start Removing Ubisoft Club Points (Units) if Not Used For 2 Years

Ubisoft Club

Ubisoft has announced that unused Ubisoft Club Points or Units will be removed from player accounts after two years if they are not redeemed for items at the Ubisoft Club. Ubisoft Club is Ubisoft’s online club where players can earn points after completing in-game challenges.

Once certain challenges or ‘Actions’ as Ubisoft calls them are completed while playing Ubisoft games, you will be granted with a certain number of Ubisoft Club Units. As you continue to earn more points, you can redeem them in exchange for different items at the Ubisoft Club’s store.

Earlier these points had no limit but starting from April 1, 2019, all earned Ubisoft Club Units will have two years in which they can be redeemed. If these units are not redeemed and two years have passed, they will be removed from the player’s account.

This was announced by Ubisoft on their official FAQ section where they detailed the process and explained that this was a positive change for the Ubisoft Club and it ensures that loyal layers are rewarded. In reality, this is basically just removing value from being a Ubisoft Club and forcing players to redeem the points rather than waiting for something cool to come to the store.

If you have earned some points earlier than March 31, 2017 and you have not redeemed them until April 1, 2019, they will be removed from your account. You can head to the Ubisoft Club and redeem your points if something fancies you such as a cool wallpaper or any other in-game bonus.

Ubisoft started the Club in order to encourage players to complete certain actions and in turn give them chances to actually win more than just in the game. Although the prizes may not appeal to you but some of the prizes can be indeed quite helpful in certain games.

We recommend that you check out the official page and redeem your points for something useful before they vanish.
