Developer The Knights of Unity has announced the early access release date of their upcoming title The Fertile Crescent. The Fertile Crescent will release on Steam Early Access on March 29, 2022, where the developer will continue development work alongside fan feedback. For players who want to jump in the title right now, the developer has released a demo for The Fertile Crescent for the duration of Steam Next Fest as well.

The Fertile Crescent is a pixel-art RTS and a throwback to classic RTS titles. The game emphasizes multiplayer games with community tournaments and the Early Access version of the game will release with the multiplayer aspect of the game live for players to battle with each other. A special Horde Mode will be part of the release as well which will have its own rules with an opponent in the form of nomads.

During its Early Access phase, The Fertile Crescent will be enriched with more modes down the road. Along with new modes, the developer also plans to refreshen the interface to the highest possible quality. Additional details will be shared about the future aspects of the title nearer to its launch which is next month.
