Publisher The Knights of Unity has announced the launch of the first early access update for their retro RTS TFC: The Fertile Crescent. TFC: The Fertile Crescent was released in Early Access earlier this year in March and since its release, the developer has been collecting player feedback. The first update for TFC: The Fertile Crescent is a result of the collected feedback and it brings the highly requested co-op in its Horde mode. Apart from this, the game also got many other features and updates which are detailed in the trailer below:
Dubbed Milestone 1, the first major update shows the developer’s commitment to making TFC: The Fertile Crescent better for its final release. Apart from the co-op in Horde mode, the Milestone 1 update also adds more options in the Skirmish Mode. Bots are now available in the Skirmish Multiplayer, and you can add them to your game before starting it to ramp up the challenge. The Horde Mode allows the community to team up and fight waves of enemies to survive.
The Skirmish Mode now also has co-op where different additional settings are now part of the experience as well. Players can choose what sort of rules they want to play in the game such as adding AI players in the game or going solo or in teams. All of these settings will be now available in the menu where you normally start your game. The UI has also received some minor changes here and there and players now have more control over their resources along with the army.
Milestone 1 is the very first milestone for TFC: The Fertile Crescent and the game will receive four additional Milestone updates which are planned for the Early Access phase of the title. The Fertile Crescent also received a trailer back in February when the early access release date of the game was announced. If you want to jump into the game during its Early Access phase or just want to add it to your Wishlist, you can head over to Steam and do so right now.
