The Centaur is one of the main bosses in Steelrising that might look tricky to fight but is pretty manageable if you know how to attack and know his attack pattern. The Centaur boss relies on AoE and spear melee attacks that you need to know about. This Steelrising The Centaur Boss Guide will show you how to beat The Centaur, what attacks it will hit you with, and the rewards you will get after beating this boss.
Steelrising The Centaur Boss Guide
This battle with The Centaur will happen in two phases, where The Centaur will first start off by firing a few projectiles from a distance that you need to dodge. The fight is a little challenging when you are up close to the boss, as it will try to stab you with the spear, whether you are in front or to the side.
The best way to deal damage to the boss is to dodge away and land to the side of the boss to hit a few times. If you stand behind the boss, his mount will try to kick you from behind and it can catch you off guard. With enough hits of your own, the boss will stagger and fall to his knees for a short period. Make sure to run in and hit as many times as you can until The Centaur regains control. At this stage, you need to back off as far as you can to avoid the incoming AoE attack.
When the boss has less than 50% health, the second phase will begin with a massive explosion attack that the boss will produce with his spear. This attack has its animation indicating that it is about to hit the area, and is your cue to move back.
The attacks in the second phase are going to remain the same, except the addition of a new attack that it produces by spinning his spear and charging at you. The spear will also be on fire, which means that it will now deal more damage than before.
The rewards for beating this boss are 13,100 Anima Essence, Grade 3 Efficient Countering Module, Module Key, and Orichalcum Ingot.
