Steelrising Bishop of the Cite Boss Guide – How to Beat, Attacks, Rewards

Steelrising Bishop of the Cite Boss Guide

One of the main bosses that you will face in Steelrising is The Bishop of the Cite, found at Palais de Justice. The Bishop boss battle progresses in three phases, where he will bring out different attacks that you have to look out for, and form an effective strategy to take him down. This Steelrising Bishop of the Cite Boss Guide will do just that by detailing the boss’ attacks in its three phases, and what is the best way to counterattack and defeat the boss.

Steelrising Bishop of the Cite Boss Guide

The first phase of the battle begins with two main attacks that The Bishop will rely on, using his multiple strikes with his staff, followed by the occasional bible throw and chain pull. Although it will be tempting to go in for a few hits of your own, you should wait for the boss to tire out after his staff swings and stabs.

The staff attack consists of around 3-4 swings and stabs that will continue one after the other, forcing you to back off or dodge away. The boss will follow up this attack by throwing the bible at your location and then pulling it back with the chain attached to it. The boss will also raise both his hands, slide while on his globe towards you, and try to hit you with his staff. Both attacks will tire out the boss as he will be vulnerable to your counterattacks. Your focus at this point is to hit the globe that he rolls on for movement, and deal him damage.

After you have continued the same steps as in the first phase and taken out a good chunk of the boss’ health, the second phase of the fight begins when the boss releases steam from the pipes, just behind his head.

This phase may look dangerous as the boss will now use his spinning blades and come at you without stopping, but it is pretty manageable as it only requires you to move to the side, while circling the area, and dodging away when the boss moves just past you.

Eventually, the boss will tire out again and will be exhausted and vulnerable, leaving you the perfect window to follow up with a lot of attacks.

The last phase begins when the boss causes a small explosion and the pipes are breathing out fire. The attacks from both the first and the second phase are what the boss will hit you within this final stage, but with the addition of a trail of fire when the boss tries to hit you with his spinning blades. The strategy will mainly remain the same, but all you have to look out for is to not run into the fire trail that The Bishop leaves behind during his spinning blade attack.

The rewards for beating this boss include The Bishop’s Hook, 4,000 Anima Essence, Grade 1 Efficient Countering Module, and Module Key
