Solid Clouds has announced the launch of Closed Beta launch of their newest title Starborne: Frontiers. Starborne: Frontiers is a multi-platform RPG and the studio’s second title however it is set in the world of the first title Starborne: Sovereign Space. It combines aspects of auto-battlers and squad-based RPGs together to offer a more up-close and in-depth view of the complex sci-fi world.
You will join the game as the Fleet Commander and recruit new ships and train their pilots to take on all sorts of dangers and secrets. The gameplay will through a variety of challenges at you ranging from bounty hunting boss fights to the main campaign of the game. The game will offer multiple game modes and recruitable characters from 10 different factions. CEO Stefán Gunnarsson commented:
We are forging ahead with the development of Frontiers. It has been receiving very positive feedback from our test players. This milestone has been reached on schedule as a result of a well-executed plan and the efforts of our high-performance, dedicated team.

The developer is currently inviting applications for beta testers and players who get selected for beta testing, will be a few of the selected ones to get the first glimpse of Starborne: Frontiers’ campaign mechanics, PvP arena, and the bounty system. If you are interested in jumping into the game as the beta tester, you can do so by heading over to discord and joining the developer’s channel.
