SNK Corporation has announced the official online tournament KOF: XV ICFC Weekly Series for its flagship fighting game KOF: XV. The series is slated to begin on May 26, 2022, and the weekly tournaments will be held in three regions worldwide. ICFC is an abbreviation for INTERCONTINENTAL FIGHT CLUB and is a fighting game tournament that has been held by ten/o LLC since 2020.
The KOF: XV ICFC Weekly Series is an official tournament for KOF: XV and is jointly organized by SNK and ten/o LLC. The online tournament will take place every Thursday in three regions North America, Asia, and Europe. Regional championships will be determined through a series of nine rounds in each region. The competition is based on a point system with points awarded according to the standings in each round.
There will be eight rounds of the entire series and the top eight overall point scorers will advance to the Final of Round 9. ICFC is known for hosting online tournaments of popular fighting games in North America, Europe, and Asia so this is not their first time jumping into the fighting scene. The company is known for fighting fans all over the world. According to the official press release, the tournament outline will be according to the following schedule:

King of Fighters: XV is also part of EVO 2022. SNK also announced King of Fighters: The Ultimate History Book last month to celebrate this wonderful franchise.
