Power Core in Slime Rancher 2 is a returning upgrade that you can equip on your Vacpack. Power Core is an important item as it gives you 150+ energy that you can use in various scenarios, especially during combat. Having this extra store of energy gives you a safety net when combating against slime.
Slime Rancher 2 Power Core Guide
The Power Core upgrade can be obtained pretty early in the game after you have completed the tutorial and have the required materials in the early stages. Fortunately, the materials are not that hard to get and you need at least 10 Cotton Plorts and 450 Newbucks to get the upgrade.
If you don’t have enough of both the materials, you can get Cotton Plorts by feeding Cotton Slimes, where they will then drop the Plorts on the open field, waiting to be collected by you. The other thing required are 450 Newbucks, which can also be obtained by Cotton Plorts if you go and sell the excess at the Plort Market.
Once you have these, you are set to go to the Manufacturer right below the Conservatory, left of the Plorth Market. You can access the area by going down the flight of stairs, leading you to the Manufacturer. With 10 Cotton Plorts and 450 Newbucks in hand, you can now get the upgrade equipped on your Vacpack.
