Rope

Rope is very important and you will be using it a lot in the game in various ways. You will automatically get the rope while playing the main story of the game. When you reach the part where you must cut down Lara’s gear from the plane wreckage, you will find the rope in the package.

Rope is used to swing across large gaps, make rope lines and climb mountains and other heights and also for firing rope arrows.

Rappel Wire

Rappel Wire is also obtained after you cut down Lara’s supplies at the plan wreckage site. The Rappel Wire is also used in climbing and you will be using it frequently in the game. It is obtained automatically during the story.

Ascender

Ascender is a useful machine which allows you to quickly climb up on rope lines and the rappel wire. Normally you will need to climb them manually which takes a lot of time but with the Ascender, you can quickly climb up and save a lot of time.

You must purchase the Ascender from the rebel merchant Moraekah in Paititi. It costs 3300g.

Overhand Climb Gear

Overhand Climb gear is yet another important part of your gear as it is clamped on Lara’s shoes and it allows you to climb inclined and horizontal rock surfaces easily. The game will automatically give it to you when you reach the end of Cenotes.

Lockpick

Lockpicks will allow you to open the conquistador treasure chests, which are hidden around different levels of the game. They are required if you want to find all hidden treasure. You can buy Lockpick from the rebel merchant Moraekah in Paititi for 2800g.

Satchel

Satchel is very important if you plan on going a resource farming run. It will allow you to store more natural and man-made resources. Getting one is recommended as extra space is always useful while you are out on an adventure. You might something that you need but you might not have enough space to carry it. This is where the Satchel will come in handy. You can buy it from the merchant in Paititi for 2600g.

Rucksack

Rucksack is a much larger pack and it allows you to carry even more natural and man made resources. You cannot buy it unless you have already purchased the Crow’s Hoard Skill and Satchel. Once you have all pre-requisites for it, you can buy it from the merchant in Paititi for 3500g.
