Finding the Explorer Backpack and Archivist Map for this region will make it very easy to find and collect all these collectibles, as they will be marked on your map.
Explorer Backpack
To start with this region’s collectible guide, we will begin with finding with the Explorer backpack first so that all collectible items are marked on your map. To find the backpack, head to the third room below the mural in the area. Rappel down to grab the bag and all items such as Treasure Chests, Crypt, Documents, Caches etc. will be marked on your map.
Base Camps
There are two Base Camps in Cozumel, Cozumel Cliffs and Trial Caverns. Check out the images below for their locations.
Challenges
Cozumel features 1 challenge for you to complete, Whistle in the Dark. You will be required to shoot down 5 death whistle carvings hanging by rope in random locations. The first one is located in the first room directly ahead of you after starting the challenge.
The second one is located in the second room located across the Carved Bowl underwater relic. Find it hanging above the south side of the room. Now, complete the underwater section and once you climb out of the water, look around to find the third carving hanging.
The fourth carving is located in the third room as you are climbing the bells. It is located right above you. The last carving is located in the area where you solve the cart puzzle. While pushing the cart, look above you to find the carving. Shoot it down and you will complete the challenge.
Survival Caches
The first two Survival Caches are located in the same room. Enter the second room, you will find one in the underwater section while the other one is located above it on the land. For the third one, you will need to head to the area where you create the rope bridge in the third room. Here, you must repel down to grab the last survival cache.
Murals
You will find the first mural in the first room near the first Death Whistle carving. Simply look on its left side. The second Mural is located on the right side after you cross the rope bridge.
Relics
Head to the second room as both Relics are located there. The first one is located underwater while the second one is sitting in the southeast corner of the room. Grab them both.
Documents
Head to the third room and look on your left side once you have climbed up the bell to find the document.
Treasure Chests
Inside the same third room, break the rope bridge’s line and create a new one, which will allow you to reach the area above the old hooking spot. Get to this location and you will find the treasure chest sitting there. You must have the lockpick otherwise; you will not be able to open the treasure chest.
