Sea of Thieves Gets ‘Forsaken Shores’ Free Update – Biggest Update Yet

Sea of Thieves released March 20, 2018 on Xbox One and Microsoft Windows only. Few weeks back at Gamescom, developers talked about ‘Forsaken Shores’, mentioning that the update will bring in a lot of new content and changes to the game.

The update is available for free right now to players who own the game. The update is also available for free to those who own the game through Xbox Game Pass. The update is the biggest yet and completely free.

The Forsaken Shores introduces players to venture a new map, a volcanic region knows as Devil’s Roar. This area of map presents most challenges to those who visit it for the first time. Players will encounter volcanic eruptions, flowing lava, hot geysers pouring out steam and more.

The Row Boat is another addition in Forsaken Shores. Since the map presents challengers in navigation, the row boat assists in dangerous terrain.

The update also brings voyages, upon completion of Devil’s Roar Voyages at increased difficulty players will be able to get bigger rewards.

The Forsaken Shores also introduces a time limited campaign. The campaign will be running for four weeks starting from today. The campaign focuses on the story of the first crew who ventured the Devil’s Roar.

Only the campaign is a limited time event. In case if you missed the event, you do not need to worry as all other content remains part of the update.

In addition to that, Sea of Thieves will bring Chinese language officially starting from November 8, 2018.

In another news, Forza Horizon 4 is available to all players to pre-load on systems as Microsoft has released an official tweet stating the fact. Forza Horizon 4 went gold recently and a demo was released on the stores so that players around the world could experience the world of Forza Horizon 4 before the final game is released at the end of this month.

Both players who have pre-ordered the Standard or the Ultimate Editions can now pre-load the game so that they are all set to jump in the game as soon as the game launches. Those who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition will be given access to the game four days early and they can begin their Horizon Festival on September 28 while Standard Edition will unlock for players on October 2.
