Salt and Sacrifice Grappling Hook Guide – How to Get, Grappling Hook Location

Salt and Sacrifice Grappling Hook Guide

One of the essential tools that you will be looking to get your hands on in Salt and Sacrifice is the Grappling Hook. The item can be obtained pretty early in the game when you start your adventure in Ashbourne Village. This quick Salt and Sacrifice Grappling Hook Guide will show you where you can find the Grappling Hook, without wasting any time, and getting on with the adventure.

Grappling Hook does exactly how it is supposed to function, where once obtained, you can use it to latch on to the grappling points, highlighted by the shining light. Using the grappling hook on these points lets you reach higher areas, or towards hard to reach areas.

The Grappling Hook also comes in handy when hitting enemies or bosses, where the tool has a chance of hitting bosses with critical hits. Once staggered, you can grapple to the enemy and land a critical hit.

When you first spawn in Ashbourne Village, you need to go left and then take the bottom path leading into a Root-Ceil Cavern cave.

This cave will contain skeleton enemies and also the Uryks Necklace-of-Ears boss. As you enter the cave, continue on the path left, leading down deeper into the cave. At this point, you need to look for the exit that comes on the far right of the main path in the cave. Do not go deeper into the cave, but look for the exit on the right that takes you out to Greymoss Mire

Right outside the cave, in Greymoss Mire will be Uryks Necklace-of-Ears boss. Beat the boss, and continue the path on the right, which will take you back into the cave. At this point, you need to carefully drop down all the way to the bottom of the cave, where you can pick up the Grappling Hook from the body.

With the tool in your hand, you can use it to climb back up, hooking yourself to the grappling points.

  1. Thats all and fine, but you forgot to mention the bug that completely destroys your grapling hook right upon collecting it. Im so tired of videogames made by monkeys. I miss so much the good videogaming days of 1990-2000.
