Arcadia Postpones Requisition VR Launch to September, Needs More Time to Improve Game

Requisition VR

Developer Arcadia VR has announced that its upcoming 4-player co-op survival game, Requisition VR has been postponed till September. The developer released a statement announcing the delay, saying that the dev team needs more time to improve the game.

This comes after Arcadia took feedback from the first beta test. There are also going to be new beta test waves that you can participate in by filling out the application on Discord. Arcadia also clarifies that most of the players who fill out the application will be able to participate in the beta test.

The statement was released by Olivier Smirnoff, general producer at Arcadia VR saying,

Unfortunately, we found some unexpected bugs and got lots of helpful feedback on how to improve the game after the first beta test. We are arranging new beta test waves, so please join our Discord to fill the application to become a beta tester. Most of the players who have filled out an application for participation in the beta test will be able to participate in it. Also those players who participated previously will be able to enjoy a new beta test to see the progress of the game. Huge thanks to our previous, current and of course future beta testers!

We understand that we made promises and you’ve been waiting for the release long enough but we want you to get the game you would love and enjoy. Two years ago our first project Hinge was a game that we took out of the oven too early but now having expertise and experience we want to keep the Requisition VR there a little bit longer. We are constantly working on the game and planning to add a redesigned crafting system, new game modes, significantly improved melee combat and gunplay.

The statement also reveals that the developers are working to bring the game to PC, which was again one of the requests made by the community.

Unfortunately, a confirmed release date has not been announced by the developer as of yet, but it is going to be released sometime in September. If no further delays hamper the full launch, we expect a release date announcement in the coming months.

If you are unaware of Requisition VR, it is a 4-player online co-op survival game, set in an apocalyptic world. You will get to run, fight, and survive in single-player or co-op mode. Explore abandoned houses and territories, finding guns, knives, and other weapons crafted using any objects in the house, from toaster to screwdriver.
