In this Rage 2 Ark Locations Guide, we will show you all the Ark locations in the game that will contain the best weapons and the abilities that the game has to offer. Arks are scattered around the open world Wasteland of Rage 2.
The Arks were cryogenic survival shelters for the elite and their equipment. The people are gone, but some still house experimental Nanotrite Powers and powerful Ark Tek Weapons.
Ark can be found in the open world, and contain some of the best loot in Rage 2. These are huge vessels that contain random loot, and the best weapons or ability. Arks are not entirely tied to the main story of the game, and this is why you should venture out looking for them.
Arks are also heavily guarded by enemies, and each is marked with enemy difficulty. It’s best to go to the ones with the lower difficulty, and slowly progressing to get the hardest Ark in the game.
Fortunately for you, we have found all the Arks in the game and located where they can be found. We have also detailed what special weapon or ability each Ark contains so you know what you are getting from them.
Rage 2 Ark Locations Guide
Below we have listed and detailed all the Arks in Rage 2. We have also detailed what difficulty you should expect from the enemies at each Ark, and what special weapon or ability you are rewarded from them
There are 11 Ark location in the game, all of which contain either weapons or special abilities for your character.
Ark # 1 – Junker’s Pass Ark
- Enemy Difficulty: 2
- Reward: Shatter
This is the lowest difficulty Ark in the game and can be found at the south of the map. The Junker’s Pass Ark will be near the center of the area.
Ark #2 – Earthscar Ark
- Enemy Difficulty: 3
- Reward: Slam
This Ark is all the way north of the map, and in line with Canyon Cove Ark.
Ark #3 – Great Crack Ark
- Enemy Difficulty: 3
- Reward: Grav-Jump
This Ark will be to the north of Junker’s Pass Ark, and to the west of Canyon Cove Ark.
Ark #4 – Strongbox Ark
- Enemy Difficulty: 4
- Reward: Smart Rocket Launcher
This Ark is northeast on the map. Refer to the image below for its location.
Ark #5 – Canyon Cove Ark
- Enemy Difficulty: 5
- Reward: Defibrillator
This Ark is towards the southeast side of the map and near Junker’s Pass.
Ark #6 – Spikewind Ark
- Enemy Difficulty: 6
- Reward: Barrier
This Ark is also towards the southeast side of the map and near Junker’s Pass.
Ark #7 – Shrouded Vault Ark
- Enemy Difficulty: 6
- Reward: Charged Pulse Canon
This Ark is south of the map, and towards the southwest corner.
Ark #8 – Dealypipe Ark
- Enemy Difficulty: 6
- Reward: Rush
This Ark is west from the Spikewind Ark.
Ark #9 – Needle Falls Ark
- Enemy Difficulty: 7
- Reward: Grav-Dart Launcher
This Ark is in the northernmost region of the map. It will be south of this region.
Ark #10 – Dank Catacomb Ark
- Enemy Difficulty: 7
- Reward: Firestorm Revolver
This Ark is in the northwest region of the map
Ark #11 – Greenhaven Ark
- Enemy Difficulty: 10
- Reward: Hyper-Cannon Railgun
This is the hardest Ark and is also towards the furthest point north.
