Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer Gentlymad Studios have announced the release date for Endzone 2. The post-apocalyptic survival game Endzone 2 will leave Early Access and be released fully on July 24, 2025, on PC via Steam and GOG. Endzone is the ambitious sequel to the award-nominated apocalyptic city-building game Endzone, and it has been out in Early Access for almost two years. During this time, the developers released nine major content updates thanks to the studio’s tireless community engagement.

Endzone 2 is inspired by different survival sims like Frostpunk, Banished, and Anno 1800 but it maintains its own unique identity. In Endzone 2, you will step into the shoes of the leader of a ragtag group of survivors who are clinging to life after a global ecological collapse. As you forge connections between isolated zones across a brutal, ever-shifting wasteland, you will reclaim the broken earth. You will build huge multi-zone cities, lead vehicle expeditions to unknown areas, and bring back more survivors to your settlements to use their skills for your benefit.

Endzone 2 is slated for release on PC via Steam and GOG on July 24, 2025. At this point, Endzone 2 is sitting with a ‘Mixed’ rating based on 540 reviews. This is for its Early Access period. The full version seems to be adding new content to the game but you can wait a little to jump into the game to see how the full version differs from its Early Access version.
