The Pokemon Company International has announced that the upcoming Pokemon Go expansion for the Pokemon TCG will feature photorealistic artwork. The special collaboration is inspired by the mobile app Pokemon Go and it will allow fans to play with cards featuring photorealistic artwork and unique gameplay scenarios inspired by the mobile title.
Certain cards in the new deck illustrate Pokemon as if they have jumped out into the real world. For example, Pikachu walking alongside its Trainer, and Snorlax sleeping wherever it pleases. Some of the cards portray Pokemon in scenes that are familiar to the mobile game such as Blissey valiantly defending a Gym and Aipom dodging a Poke Ball. Apart from this, objects and characters from the world of Pokemon Go will appear as Trainer cards.
This includes PokeStop as a Stadium card and Lure Module as an item card along with the Spark of Team Instinct, Blanche of Team Mystic, and Candela of Team Valor as Supporter cards. The Pokemon Trading Card Game: Pokemon Go expansion is slated to release worldwide on July 1, 2022, and it will release via the following product offerings. Additional releases will arrive later as well and select products will feature unique promo cards including powerful new Pokemon V and Pokemon VSTAR which will be impactful in Pokemon Trading Card Game battles.

- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Special Collections (includes one of three full-art foil promo cards featuring Spark, Blanche or Candela)
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Collection—Alolan Exeggutor V (includes one foil promo card and one oversize foil card featuring Alolan Exeggutor V)
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Tin (includes one foil promo card featuring Pikachu with the Gift Delivery attack)
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Poké Ball Tin
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Mini Tins featuring Magikarp, Eevee, Blissey, Pikachu and Snorlax
