Secret Techniques Guide – Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu/Eevee
Our Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu/Eevee Secret Techniques Guide details everything that you need to know about secret Techniques in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu/Eevee.
Chop Down
This is a very helpful technique and you can use it to cut down trees to access areas behind them. To learn Chop Down, play the main story until you arrive in Vermillion City. Head towards S.S. Anne and fight all the trainers located on it. Once done, go to the Captain of the ship and speak with him. He will teach your partner Pokémon the Chop Down technique after which you can make your own way through trees and bushes.
Light Up
Light Up is again a very handy technique as it will allow you to light up dark caves so that you can see easily in there. You can obtain this technique after beating the Vermillion City Gym trainer and head speaking with Professor Oak’s assistant. To find him, head to Diglett’s Cave and cross it to arrive at a small house. He will teach your partner Pokémon the technique Light up.
Strong Push
You will need Strong Push to move away big stones and large boulders to clear a path. To get this ability, keep playing until you are in Fuchsia City. Head to the Pokémon Center and find the house located on its east side where you will encounter a man missing his teeth.
Now you need to get his teeth back. Head to Route 19 located on the south and find James and Jessie on the beach. Get the teeth back from them and return to the man. Give him his teeth back and he will teach your starter Pokémon Strong Push.
Sky Dash
Sky Dash allows you to travel instantly back to the last Pokémon Center you visited. This is a helpful technique and you can learn after reaching a certain point in the story. When you reach Lavender City, make your way to the Pokémon Tower and you will be stopped by the big ghost. Next, head towards Celadon City and get access to Team Rockets hidden HQ.
Inside make your way to the boss of the HQ and defeat Jessie, James and their leader Giovanni. You will need to solve a variety of puzzles on the way. After defeating Team Rocket and their leader, leave the HQ and you will see a man standing next to a strange machine with some balloons.
Interact with this person and he will teach your partner Pokémon Sky Dash which will allow you to quickly travel to the Pokémon Center you last visited or any other city that you have already traveled to before. It can also be called as a Fast Travel service.
Sea Skim
With Sea Skim, you will be able to glide across water bodies in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu/Eevee. You will need to cross water bodies to reach certain items and trainers so you will need this ability. To learn it, reach Fuchsia City and make your way to the Go Park. Head west of the park and you will find a man standing next to a Lapras. Speak with this guy and he will teach you Sea Skim.
