Pancham is one of the earliest Pokemon that you can catch in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. It can be caught easily in the early Wild Zones. You can evolve it into Pangoro, known for its powerful Physical attacks. However, evolving Pancham is not as simple as leveling it up; it needs a special condition to trigger its evolution. Our Pokemon Legends: Z-A Pancham Guide details how to catch Pancham and how to evolve it into Pangoro.
How to Get Pancham in Pokemon Legends: Z-A
You can find Pancham in the southwest part of Wild Zone 3. It is the same area where Skiddo spawns. However, Pancham doesn’t always show up. It is a rare spawn, so you might need to reset the area a few times before finding this.
You can wait for Pancham while resting at the bench facing the section of Wild Zone 3. Every time the game changes from day to night or night to day, all Pokemon in that zone will reset. So, wait there until you find one.
How to Evolve to Pangoro
Pancham evolves into Pangoro once it reaches level 32, but you must also have a Dark-type Pokemon in your main party when it levels up.
To evolve Pancham:
- Train it by battling until you get to level 32 or higher, or using EXP Candies or Rare Candies.
- Make sure you have any Dark-type Pokemon in your team alongside Pancham.
- Open the menu, select Pancham, and choose “Evolve.” You will get Pangoro.
Getting a Dark-Type Pokemon for Pancham’s Evolution
If you don’t already have a Dark-type Pokemon, you can get one by following the tips from below table:
| Pokemon | How To Get |
| Absol | After completing Main Mission 9, Absol will automatically join your party. |
| Houndour | This Dark/Fire-type Pokemon can be found in Wild Zone 6. |
| Sableye | You can catch a level 10 Sableye during Side Mission 003: Sableye in the Cemetery, which is found just outside Wild Zone 4. |
| Umbreon | Catch an Eevee in Bleu Sector 5, on the rooftops behind Nouveau Cafe Truck No. 2, and evolve it into Umbreon by raising its Friendship to max at night. |
