Pokemon Legends: Z-A has many different types of Pokemon with different move sets and powers. Chandelure is one of them who is one of the strongest in the game. It is a Fire/Ghost Pokemon. However, getting one is not as simple as catching others in the wild zones. You will first need to find Litwick, which can be evolved into Lampent, its pre-evolutions, and then use a special method to evolve them. How to Get Lampent in Pokemon Legends: Z-A
You can catch Litwick inside the Lumiose Sewers. This area becomes accessible during Main Mission 19: Reaching Rank D, where you will meet Gwynn from the Fist of Justice.
To open the path for the sewers, you need to freeze a water fountain using a Pokemon that knows Ice Beam.
Once you complete this mission, you can go to the sewers again by starting Side Mission 057: The Camerupt Entrepreneur. To begin this quest, start moving towards Blue Sector 3 and talk to Herup, a Camerupt trainer standing near the sewer entrance. After speaking to him, he will move aside, letting you enter the Lumiose Sewers again, where you can find Litwick.
You can get Lampent in one of the following two ways:
- After catching Litwick, you can evolve it into Lampent at level 41.
- You can also directly catch Lampent without catching Litwick. You can catch Lampent in the Wild Zone 17, but only at night. This area unlocks after finishing Main Mission 24: Reaching Rank C.
How to Evolve Lampent into Chandelure
To evolve Lampent into Chandelure, you just need a Dusk Stone to use on Lampent. There is no level requirement, meaning you can evolve Lampent at any time once you get the stone after catching Lampent or evolving Litwick into one.
You can find a wild Alpha Chandelure in Wild Zone 20, but this area only becomes available after finishing the main story.

You will need a Dusk Stone to evolve Lampent as we discussed earlier, and there are several ways to get one in Pokemon Legends: Z-A:
- You can buy it for 3,000 Poke Dollars from the Stone Emporium after completing the main story.
- Earn it as a reward for finishing Side Mission 83: Honedge’s Cutting Edge, which unlocks after Main Mission 25: Reaching Rank C.
- Can also find them as glowing red Poke Balls across different parts of Lumiose City.
