The quickest method to increase a Pokemon’s Friendship/Happiness is by spending time with it at a cafe or food truck in Lumiose City. Here’s how to do it step by step:
- Put the Pokemon you want to evolve/increase friendship with in the first slot of your party.
- Visit a cafe or food truck and order a cup of tea or coffee.
- Every drink at the cafe helps increase Friendship, but some drinks raise it faster than others. Like “Roserade Tea”, which costs you 350 Pokedollars per cup, but it gives a strong Friendship boost.
- Leave the table right away by pressing B and selecting “Yes.”
- Repeat this process about three to four times, or until your Pokemon is ready to evolve.
