Palworld Nitewing Guide – How to Catch, Create its Saddle & Breed

Palworld Nitewing Guide

Nitewing is one of the earliest flying mounts in Palworld which makes it one of your early go-to Pals in the game. Having a Nitewing will open the entire map to you as you can easily traverse around. You might need to be patient and look for it in specific places or go back to areas where Nitewing might appear later to get this bird. To help you out, we have curated this Palworld Nitewing Guide which will help you catch your first flying Pal, create its saddle, and also breed it.

Nitewing is a Neutral Pal, and you can add it to your team by different means. Read on through to know more about this flying Pal.

Where to Find Nitewing in Palworld

Similar to Dinossom, Nitewing is less likely to appear when using regular Pal Spheres and is more challenging to defeat in combat compared to smaller Pals. To find Nitewing in Palworld, you can go three different ways. These are:

  • Encounter it as an Alpha Boss on the south coast of Ice Wind Island
  • Hatch it from a Common Egg
  • Buy it from a Black Marketeer

Out in the wild, you will find Nitewing on the Eastern Wild Island, Marsh Island, the right section of Windswept Hills, Sea Breeze Archipelago, Ice Wind Island, and Forgotten Islands. You should note that it will not spawn that easily in the game and you may have to re-visit an area just to make it spawn. In addition, it only spawns in the air so if you are going after a wild Nitewing, make sure that you have good, ranged Pals with you and you have decent ranged weaponry with you as well to bring its health down.

If you are trying to hatch it from a Common egg, there are tons of Common Eggs found all over the map. To hatch it, your base must have an incubator, and having some Pals with the Kindling Work Suitability also makes it much easier to hatch an egg. Even with this, the time it takes for the egg to hatch is really long and there is no guarantee that you will get the Pal that you want once it hatches. You should start by making sure that the egg is a Neutral-Type egg and try your luck from there.

To spawn Nitewing in the wild, fast travel between the Plateau of Beginnings and the Grassy Behemoth Hills until it appears. The Alpha Boss shows up when you reach Level 18, and you can locate it easily by heading north from the Sealed Realm of the Winged Tyrant fast travel spot. This area is usually busy with various Pals that might interfere with the battle. Nitewing is typically at Levels 9 to 11, posing a challenging fight early on, but it becomes easier at Levels 12 and above. The exact location of the Alpha version of Nitewing is marked on the map below:

How to Get Nitewing Saddle in Palworld

Nitewing has a Gathering skill at Level 2, but it’s not meant to stay at the base. Players can get the Nitewing Saddle at Player Level 15 for 2 Technology Points. To craft the saddle, you will need:

  • Leather x20
  • Fiber x20
  • Ingot x15
  • Paldium Fragment x20
  • Cloth x10

This lets players use Nitewing as a Travel Companion, flying around Palworld. Using this skill takes up the player’s stamina, so be cautious when flying away from land.

How to Breed Nitewing in Palworld

If you want to get or create a Nitewing in Palworld, you can do it by breeding specific Pals. There are seven pairs of Pals that could give you a Nitewing, but some pairs need a Nitewing to start with. Since there’s only one Nitewing in the wild, it’s helpful to breed more of them. Nitewings are good for breeding other strong Pals like Kingpaca, Quivern, and Sibelyx. If you find or breed a Nitewing, you’ll have a flying mount and a creature that can gather supplies with its Work Suitability.

The following are all the pairs that will make a Nitewing egg:-

  • Mossanda x Nitewing
  • Mossanda x Sweepa
  • Penking x Elizabee
  • Penking x Reptyro
  • Cinnamoth x Pyrin
  • Nitewing x Sweepa
  • Nitewing x Nitewing
