The upcoming DLC of Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom has received new screenshots by developer Level-5. This will be the second DLC that is coming in the JRPG title.

The DLC is set to launch on 19 March for about $14 (1500 Yen) as announced by publisher Bandai Namco.

The package or DLC is called Mahoutsukai which translates to The Wizard’s Book, and will reveal the secrets behind the world of the game. the new story can be accessible by players when they enter chapter 5 of the game, while you don’t have to have the previous DLC to play the new content.

The truth of the world where the “taintedness” that corrupted the kings of Ni no Kuni lurks will be revealed on this new adventure!

The new content will introduce some of the second large scale downloadable content’s new elements, include new episodes that delve into the past of the main characters, new Martial Methods, and a new area called Pandora Night.

Evan has heard a rumor about meeting a mysterious rabbit that you can meet in a dream by staying at the inn. This character will be recognizable from the first game of the series for fans of Ni No Kuni.

When he wakes up, he’s in a dream…!? There, he meets a suspicious, tuxedo-wearing, rabbit-faced character who calls himself Evan’s “Conductor.”

What is the goal of this “Conductor” who holds the key to the story…?

There is also more content that include characters of the game and their past. The new episode will delve deeper in the stories of some certain characters. Meanwhile two new Martial Methods are also coming in the DLC. By customizing Martial Methods, you can evolve your battle style with a number of distinct skills that previously unavailable in battle. The second large-scale downloadable content adds two new Martial Methods.

Lastly, a new battle arena is also being added and it is called Pandora Night. Here you can challenge consecutive battles of the highest difficulty, and these time attack style battles reward you based on your clear time.
