Mortal Kombat Show Mercy Move Guide – How to Use, Not Dead Yet Trophy/Achievement

Mortal Kombat Show Mercy Move Guide

In this Mortal Kombat Show Mercy Move Guide, we will guide you on how you can unlock the Show Mercy move in Mortal Kombat 11. In Mortal Kombat 11, when the ‘Finish Him/Her’ screen appears on the screen, instead of killing your enemies, you can show them some mercy and give them some health and bring them back in action.

This is entirely an optional move and you can decide whether you want to rip your enemy’s spine out or give them a second chance by giving them some health. Your enemy will come back in the game and will be ready to fight once again. Remember that after you show them mercy, you can lose the fight to them so be ready for fighting them again after using the move.

Our Mortal Kombat Show Mercy Move Guide details everything that you need to know about using the Show Mercy move in Mortal Kombat 11.

How to Use the Show Mercy Move

Similar to fatalities and other combo moves in Mortal Kombat 11, the Show Mercy move is also a combo and you will need to input the combo once the health bar of your opponent reaches zero and the screen displays Finish Him/Her message. You must be at a mid-distance from your opponent for this to work. Your opponent will get a pretty decent amount of health back so you will need to fight them again until their health goes down.

The button combo is very simple for the Show Mercy move. All you need to do is press L2+Down three times on PS4 or LT+Down on an Xbox One three times for this move. Make sure that you press the same L2+Down or LT+Down combo quickly three times and you will ‘Show Mercy’ to your opponent. You will still have the opportunity to land a fatal blow once they are back in action.

Also, keep in mind that you can use this move only once in every match so if you are planning to humiliate your opponent by bringing them back to life and then beating them again and again, it will not work. Perform this move ten times and you will unlock Not Dead Yet trophy or achievement based on your platform.

This is a universal move so the combo is the same for every fighter in the game. It works in offline and online modes so make sure that you do not bring someone back who has the potential to kick your butt the second time they come back.
