The goal is to transform these dark figures by replacing their harmful traits with symbolic flowers, neutralizing their malicious tendencies, and leading them toward a more peaceful existence.
Check out the MINDHACK Chapter 5 trailer:
Throughout the game, you encounter a variety of unique and often unsettling villains—from a ruthless gang leader to a fanatical cultist. Conversations are brought to life with vivid animations and a distinctive visual style that keeps the player’s hands on-screen during interactions, enhancing the immersive experience.
The hacking sequences involve typing specific codes to access the characters’ suppressed memories. As these secrets emerge, initial perceptions of the villains may shift dramatically, revealing deeper layers of their personalities. By understanding the roots of their behavior, you can carefully rewrite their minds using keywords linked to their identities, ultimately altering their fates.
The new update introduces Chapter 5, a new storyline centered on Hugo Patrick, a mysterious astronaut who has traveled from Earth to the strange world of MINDHACK. Drawing inspiration from classic science fiction works like 2001: A Space Odyssey and The Thing, this chapter blends drama, humor, and surreal twists while paying homage to the timeless sci-fi genre.
Realkey, one of the game’s developers, expressed excitement about the new chapter:
It’s finally here, Mindhackers! While MINDHACK features an overarching storyline, each chapter also functions as a self-contained narrative focusing on a unique character. In Chapter 5, you’ll meet Hugo Patrick—a visitor from Earth whose perspective brings eerie and unexpected turns reminiscent of The Twilight Zone.
The new update including Chapter 5 of the main story is now live for MINDHACK including all players who purchased the game during its Early Access phase. Simply download the new update to access the new content if you have yet to purchase the game, you can head over to its official Steam page and add it to your library right now.
