In this Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Character Unlock Guide, we will show you how you can unlock the several characters that the game comes with. Some of the characters will be unlocked while progressing through with the story, while others require certain conditions.
This guide is a work in progress. We will be adding more characters into the list shortly.
The game offers several characters for you to unlock. If a character unlock is tied to the progression of the story, you will have to play through the game. You can also check what team you can have that gives you more Team Bonuses. In order to check this, you need to go to the character menu by pressing Y, and then see what buffs you get. Any new character you unlock will come at high level, while the lower level characters will level up on their own.

Rocket and Groot
This character can be unlocked at the start of the game
Venom
This character can be unlocked after you beat Venom at the Raft.
Drax
This character can also be unlocked at the beginning of the game
Gamora
This character can be unlocked at the start of the game.
Crystal
This character can be unlocked by playing through the story on The Raft
Scarlet Witch
This character can be unlocked by playing through the story on The Raft
Deadpool
This character can be unlocked at the Xavier Institute level.
Ironman
This character can be unlocked by playing through the story on The Raft
Dr. Strange
This character can be unlocked at the Dark Dimension level.
Spider-Man
This character can be unlocked by playing through the story on The Raft
Captain America
This character can be unlocked by playing through the story on The Raft
Ghost Rider
This character can be unlocked at the Dark Dimension level.
Elsa Bloodstone
