How to Get the Tommy Gun
The Tommy Gun is not the weapon that you can get early on in the game. It requires you to put in a few hours and play the main story of the game until you reach Chapter 8 of the main story. When you reach Chapter 8, which is just over halfway of the game, you will have the chance of getting the weapon off from a dead enemy that you kill.
In Chapter 8, you will be tasked to kill the manager of Corleone Hotel. During the mission, you will head up towards the manager’s office on the top floor. Here you will go through a long glass hallway with enemies that will come from the other end. One such enemy will have the Tommy Gun that they will use to attack you.
