Below we have detailed how to defeat Young Xehanort in the game.

How to Defeat Young Xehanort

The best way to defeat Young Xehanort is by dodging and avoiding his attacks, and to look for attacking opportunities. Young Xehanort can also control time, where if stuck, you will be in for a lot of swing attacks. One of his basic attacks is the ice whip which he swings at you. This attack has a lot of range so it can catch you off guard even if you are some distance away.

Another of his swinging attacks is where he spins around with his weapons that deal damage and also restores his health as he spins. He also has a projectile-based attack where he sends forth ice projectiles that hit you for damage.

Your task in this fight is to avoid taking any unnecessary damage from his basic attacks and always look out for his time stopping attack. This attack is where he makes a clock on the floor to make time stop. Once you find an opening, start with your own attacks.

You can also use the Rage Form ability that Sora has to get out of a tricky situation. This attack not only deals damage to the boss but also restores some of your health in return.
