How to Find and Beat the Iniquitous Baptist Boss in Genshin Impact
The Iniquitous Baptist boss is located in the new desert area called the Girdle of the Sands, brought in version 3.6 of the game. This boss is located in the north part of the map, close to the Gate of Zulqarnain in Hangeh Afrasuya.
Use the southeast teleport waypoint, just below Tunigi Hollow, and then head straight west on the path that leads to the cave. As you approach the area, head inside the cave until you reach the ruins.
How to Beat Iniquitous Baptist Boss
The best way to defeat the boss is to destroy all of its Elemental Rings using Elemental Reactions that are suited for it. The boss primarily uses Electro, Pyro, Hydro, and Cryo, meaning that you are best suited to use Hyperbloom Reactions to destroy all the shields.
The best characters to have in your party for this boss fight are Xiangling, Bennet, and Ayato. This is because both Bennet and Xiangling can destroy all the Elemental Rings of the boss, while Ayato can deal with Damage using the Elemental Skill.
Destroying the shields or all the Elemental Rings will stun the boss, allowing you the best time to start hitting the boss and deal damage to it. The best way to deal damage when the boss is stunned is to use your characters’ Elemental Bursts.
The Elemental Rings will require you to use the correct counter to destroy them. When attacking, the boss will use Elemental Ring attacks with a shield indicated just under the HP bar.
Iniquitous Baptist Attacks
The boss attacks primarily using his Elemental Rings and Shields. The first is where it will generate Elemental Shields that will decrease the damage it takes. The main attack is the Energy Blades that home at your location.
