How to Get Flax in Valheim
Flax can be found in the Plains Biome where you have to specifically go to the Fuling camps where you are more likely to find it. While this is the most common way to get your hands on Flax, especially in the early stages of your gameplay, you can also find Flax in chests in this biome as well.
The Plains biome does contain its own threats with enemies waiting for you in near the Fuling village. You can either be sneaky with your approach or head in for a challenge by preparing yourself with the right armor and weapons.
How to Plant and Grow Flax
To reduce your chances of looking for more Flax in dangerous places, you can plant and grow this crop to get more of it. To plant the Flax, you will require the Cultivator to prepare the soil and then plant the crops to grow them. In addition, you can only plant and grow crops in the Plains biome, as any other location will wilt the plants, rendering them useless.
You can have a sustainable amount of Flax if you plant some of it again, while using the rest for your other tasks such as crafting. It also saves you from heading to dangerous locations and having to fight enemies for this item.
