GreedFall Will Have Multiple Endings and More than 30 Hours of Gameplay

GreedFall Gameplay

GreedFall is the upcoming RPG by Spiders Games that is coming in less than a month from now. The developer of GreedFall has already revealed that the game will have a lot of content for the players which include more than 30 hours of gameplay and having multiple good and bad endings of the story.

Talking to the Escapist, the CEO of Spiders Games Jehanne Rousseau revealed that the gameplay of the game sits around 30 to 45 hours worth of content when it up for testing. He adds that even if you push it, you still get a minimum of at least 30 hours of gameplay from GreedFall.

Some playtesters said they were playing about 40 hours doing some sidequests but not all of them. They were saying that if maybe they’d done all the quests it would have been four or five hours more. I think that it really depends on how far you go into the crafting system, into exploration, and into the sidequests because there are plenty of them. If you just go through the main quest it will be far shorter, maybe 30 hours or something.

When talking about the story and the endings, he added that the game will have multiple types of endings which can be both good and bad. All of which will heavily rely on the player choices and the consequences tied with each choice or path they choose. Choices will help you build friendships, break up alliances and resolve conflicts of groups for a better future together.

Some endings can be seen as bad by some people or good by some others, and I’m OK with that. We really want these different endings to not just be moralistic imposed choices made by us.

GreedFall is an open-world fantasy RPG from an indie developer Spiders Games. Players will set out in a dying old world with declining population plagued by an unrelenting disease. The only hope left for humanity is a cure that can be found on the island of Teer Fradee. You will have to join your cousin, along with the governor Constantin D’Orsay, along with various other faction members that come with their own narratives and hidden agendas. It is up to you to decide if you want to involve yourself in the new colonies or join the struggle with the natives for liberty.

The game will cost you $49.99 and is available for pre-order right now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Post your comments below.
