Paranoid Interactive and HYPERSTRANGE have announced the full release of Frozenheim out of its early access phase with the latest 1.0 update. The latest update brings finishing touches to the game’s visuals and gameplay and introduces a fourth story campaign to the game as well. The fourth chapter concludes the main narrative of the game and offers players a new procedural map generation system that allows players to experience beyond what was originally intended for them. It acts like a custom-map designer but the control is with the game’s engine.

Frozenheim is a unique title that blends real-time strategy with a management-focused city-building sim into an epic saga of your own making. The RTS mechanics are toned down and the mechanics allow players to soak in the beauty of the game while they are controlling the units. Unreal Engine allows you to watch the seasons change in the game as you manage villages and lead your clans to victory. Set in the half-mythical time of Viking sagas and old Norse gods, the people in Frozenheim are still following the classic Norse traditions.
To experience the full story, you have 21-missions with four stories of different Viking clans to follow and if solo is not your thing, you have multiplayer, free-form city-building, and skirmish modes along with promised expansions in the future as well.
