The Winter Wonderland update has arrived in Forza Horizon 5, and we have our first week sent in Winter. As a Holiday treat, all four weeks of this Festival Playlist will be set in Winter. The first week of Winter brings a fresh new photo challenge for us called Alpine Retreat in which we will be driving a rather unique brand of vehicles that has remained dormant for a long period. This Forza Horizon 5 AlpineRetreat Photo Challenge Guide will help you complete this week’s challenge easily.
AlpineRetreat Photo Challenge Guide – Forza Horizon 5
For this week’s challenge, we have two location options, and we can pick any one of them for this challenge. The first location choice is the mighty Hotel Castillo Santa Cecilia which also serves as the most expensive player house in Forza Horizon 5. It is located a little above the Guanajuato, the main city in Forza Horizon 5. The second option is the Hotel Mirador Baldaerrama, another beautiful hotel but rather not a very common place in the game. Its location is a little deceiving on the map as well. Below, we have marked the locations of both hotels. You can pick any one of them for this challenge. If you are going for Hotel Mirador Balderrama, its location is where our car is located in its image and not where its name is pointing in the game.
Once you have arrived at the location of your desired hotel, switch to any of the two Alpines present in the game. You can choose between the original 1973 Alpine A110 1600S or the much newer 2017 Alpine A110. Whichever vehicle you pick, once inside it, enter the photo mode by pressing and holding Up on the D-Pad and take a picture to complete the challenge. Make sure that both the Alpine and the hotel are inside the frame to complete the challenge. Once the challenge is complete, you will be rewarded with the Sleigh Bells Horn Reward along with 2 Points for your Festival Playlist completion.
