How To Date Different Characters in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Who you go on a date with at the Gold Saucer depends on who you’ve become closest to. If you haven’t shown a preference, you’ll probably end up with Aerith. However, you can also choose to go with Tifa, Barret, Yuffie, or Red XIII for different experiences. You build bonds in a few ways, like noticing emojis above characters’ heads in town. Emojis begin as plain, gray faces and can change to happy, sky-blue faces. Around each face are five small rings, each with its own number. For example, a purple emoji has only one filled ring, while a light green emoji has two filled rings, and so on.
The earlier you pick someone to date, the easier it is to make it happen. After choosing, talk to them whenever you can and say things they like. Take them into battle and use the Synergy attack that involves both you and them to strengthen your bond.
The best way to strengthen your relationship with a character in the game is by completing side missions related to them. When you start a side mission, one of your team members will be prominently featured, showing you who you’ll be getting closer to. If it’s the character you’re interested in romantically, be sure to complete that mission. If not, you can skip it to avoid getting closer to a different character.
Before the big event in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you’ll get a heads-up so you can do more tasks if you want to ensure you go on a date with your preferred character. Once you’re sure you’ll get the date you want, go to bed and wait for your partner to arrive and take you out. After finishing the game, you can replay this part and choose who you want to go on a date with, as long as you have a strong enough bond with that character.
