Dragon Quest Builders 2 Coming to PS4 and Nintendo Switch

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is coming to PS4 and Nintendo Switch on July 22. This was announced in the latest Nintendo Direct event. It was released last year in Japan but now the title is finally heading to the global market as well.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is set in an alternate Dragon Quests timeline and it seems like evil has taken control of the world once again. It is up to the player to build back the world to its formal glory and eliminate all evil once and for all.

The game will feature real-time combat and battles. It is also more focused on building and follows along the lines of Minecraft where it allows players to be as creative as they want to be and also adds some basic RPG mechanics to the game when it comes to building.

Apart from improved gameplay and better mechanics, Dragon Quest Builders 2 will also feature four players co-op. This is both for local multiplayer and online multiplayer. Players can jump on the same console by simply grabbing another controller and join in the fun in the game.

If you do not have local friends to play with, you can always jump in online and invite your friends over for some online fun. The multiplayer is a very decent addition to Dragon Quest Builders franchise and it will help it to come in league with Minecraft.

If you are planning to purchase the game on Nintendo Switch and you own the original Dragon Quest Builders on it as well, you will get some in-game bonuses. You will be able to craft the Legendary Builder’s outfit and Dragonlord’s Throne.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is slated for release on Nintendo Switch and PS4 on July 12, 2019.
