How to Farm Decrypted Data in Destiny 2

While Decrypted Data is an important resource in Destiny 2, it is also not that easy to obtain in the game. Your main uses for the Decrypted Data in the game are using it to focus your Engrims and also to upgrade your Splicer Gauntlet. The very basic way of obtaining Decrypted Data in the game is to play through the main story of the season and take part in its Raid which is now live. You will get a small amount through the progression, so you have to look towards other ways of obtaining the Decrypted Data in the game.

One of the most common ways to get it is by playing the Weekly Challenges. Not all of the Weekly Challenges will give you Decrypted Data but if you plan on farming Decrypted Data, you should focus on playing and completing those Weekly Challenges that give you this particular resource for the game. The most you can get from one of these challenges is 150 Decrypted Data.

Moving on from the Weekly Challenges, if you own the Premium Season Pass for Destiny 2, reaching specific ranks in the season pass will also give you Decrypted Data. Reaching levels 2, 12, and 32 will give you Decrypted Data Troves which is essentially a specific amount of Decrypted Data. Finally, the third, most inconsistent method of trying to get some Decrypted Data is by playing the Override mode.

Override mode has arrived with the Season of the Splicer and it is a match between six different players. You can enter the mode by using the code created by your Splicer Gauntlet. Once you are in, you must complete the event and then make your way to the Conflux chest sitting at the end of the event. Open up this chest and if you are lucky, you will find some Decrypted Data in this chest. These are the three methods by which you can farm more Decrypted Data in the game in order to focus your Engrims and upgrade your Splicer Gauntlet.
