Death Stranding Will Make Players Cry Says Norman Reedus

Death Stranding Norman Reedus

There has been a lot of hype around Death Stranding but we still do not know much about the game. Kojima has done a great job of creating a smoke of mystery around the game and we might learn more about it in the coming days.

Norman Reedus plays the role of the protagonist in Death Stranding and he claims that the game is emotional and will make the players cry. The following is what Hideo Kojima had to say in this regard:

I think people will cry, yeah. When you actually go out with someone, sometimes you have a great time but maybe [decide] actually I want to go and stay at home.

Hideo Kojima further mentioned that compared to the games that we have seen till now Death Stranding is going to be really different. We have seen some gameplay and some footage of the game but most of us still cannot make out what the game is about. It is set in the future, which is something that you can figure out but other than that, things are very confusing indeed.

Kojima mentioned that connection is going to be an important theme throughout the game and the following is what he had to say in this regard:

I’m putting that as a metaphor in the game. The player will have to reconnect the world in the game. You’re very alone, there’s solitude, but you’re trying to connect. The story and the gameplay, the key word is ‘connection.’  There are so many things in-between, of course, but the key is connection.

This is all very interesting indeed but we need to make sense of things and play the game in order to see whether or not it is worth the hype. Kojima has been teasing fans for a while now but we still do not have an official release date.

Let us know what you think about Death Stranding and whether or not you are interested in playing the game when it comes out.
