There are many puzzles in each of the missions of the game. Some of the puzzles are tricky, while some are straightforward. Some require a special code you need to locate in order to unlock padlocks, doors, etc.
Daymare 1998 Puzzles Guide
Below we have detailed all the puzzles and their solutions that you will find in Daymare 1998.
Main Story Mission #1
There are three puzzles in the first mission. Each of them requires you to find a way to complete them so you can progress further in the story. All the puzzles in this mission are detailed below:
Puzzle #1 – Restore Power in Aegis
This puzzle will be on a console that will have the power switches for each of the areas. Your job here is to switch on the correct rooms so that you can solve this puzzle. When you first reach the console, you will find that all switches will be powered off (red). You have to switch a selected few by turning them On (Green).
The switches you need to turn on are:
- Cargo Room
- Submarine Shaft
- Lab Area
- Control Room
- Reception/Hall
- Server Room
- Security Room
Once you have these switches on, turn on the lever on the right side of the console to solve this puzzle.
Puzzle #2 – N2 Tank
This puzzle will also take you to a console where you will have to manage the pressure inside the N2 Tank. To solve the puzzle, first, bring all the N2 from Chamber 2 to Chamber 1. This can be done by pressing the negative button from Chamber 2, and then the positive button on Chamber 1. Repeat until all has been transferred.
Next is to transfer all N2 from Chamber 3 to Chamber 4 in the same way. Press the negative button on Chamber 3, and then the positive button on Chamber 4. The main thing is to transfer all pressure to Chamber 1 on the top row, and Chamber 4 on the bottom row. This will complete the puzzle.
Puzzle #3 – Passcode in the Founder’s Room
This puzzle requires you to enter Greek symbols into the hidden keyboard that is in the middle of the desk in this room. Go to it and enter these symbols in sequence and then hit enter. There will be three codes you need to enter.

Main Story Mission #2
There is just one puzzle in the second mission of the game. The solution is detailed below:
Puzzle #1 – Unlock Harbor
You will come across a white door with a padlock on it that will require you to enter a three-digit code. This is the Harbor lock that you need to unlock. The code for this lock is 637.
Main Story Mission #4
There is just one puzzle in the fourth mission of the game. the solution is detailed below:
Puzzle #1 – Cable Car Station Puzzle
There are three things you need to solve when you enter the Cable Car station. The first thing you need to do is enter the darkroom on the left. There will be a zombie inside and you need to locate a fuse. This can be taken form the yellow generator on the right side of the room.
Next, you have to head out and then go to the red console that is next to the Cable Car, on the wall to the left. Interact with it and the Gate light will indicate as On (Green). Now there will be a hatch right outside the entrance of the cable car, you need to interact with 5 levers here. The correct sequence is:
- Pull down lever 4
- Pull down lever 2
- Pull down lever 5
- Pull down lever 3
- Pull down lever 1
This will turn on the Break light to green. Next, you need to go to the fuel pump on the right wall of the cable car. Here is another puzzle that requires you to press two buttons. Either Turn 5 or Turn 3. Press in the sequence mentioned below:
- Turn 5
- Turn 3
- Turn 3
- Turn 3
- Turn 3
- Turn 3
- Turn 3
- Turn 5
- Turn 5
- Turn 5
This will turn the Fuel indicator to Green, and complete the whole cable car puzzle in the station.
Main Story Mission #5
There are five puzzles in the first mission. Each of them requires you to find a way to complete them so you can progress further in the story.
Puzzle #1 – Archives in Hospital
This puzzle is the one where you have to access the computer with the green text on it. you are required to enter the correct sequence in order to solve the puzzle. The task here is to match the total of the number in the bottom row. This can be done by pressing the following buttons:
- Switch row number 2
- Switch row number 3
- After loading, switch row number 1
- Switch row number 3
- After loading again, switch row number 3
- Lastly, switch row number 4
Puzzle #2 – Unlock Padlock
You will now come across a lock in a dark area in the hospital. This will be right next to the elevator. The correct code for this puzzle is 251.
Puzzle #3 – Unlock Basement Lock
When you are in the basement area of the hospital, you will come across another padlock. The code for this lock is 667.
Puzzle #4 – Basement Valves
In the hospital, you will come across an area where you will find three valves with a pressure gauge on them. You need to equalize the pressure on all the three valves. The correct way to turn the valves is:
- Turn middle valve 4 times
- Turn right valve 5 times
Puzzle #5 – Maternity Ward Lock
In the hospital, you will come across the maternity ward that will be locked. You need to enter the correct code to unlock. The code her is 434.
Main Story Mission #6
There are two puzzles in the sixth mission of the game. The solutions to each puzzle are detailed below:
Puzzle #1 – Gun Shop Neon Lights Puzzle
This puzzle requires you to shut down the electricity that powers the neon lights outside of the shop. This can be done with the console inside that has a puzzle you have to solve. The console with have 9 lights on it arranged in a sequence of three rows. Press the following buttons in the correct order:
- Press the middle button in the middle row
- Press left the button on the top row
- Press the right button on the bottom row
This will switch off the lights outside, and complete the puzzle as well.
Puzzle #2 – Entrance of the Sewer
This puzzle is when you are finding an entrance in the sewers. There are three dials on the ground where they need to be rotated correctly. The solutions are detailed below
- The Bear River: Turn the dial to Shipping
- The Deer: Turn the dial to Gold Digging
- Fort Vemilion: Turn the dial to Hunting
- Colonel S. Crackhorn: Turn the dial to Apple Harvesting
Main Story Mission #7
There is just one puzzle in the seventh mission of the game. The solution to it is detailed below:
Puzzle #1 – Water Pumps in Sewer
This is a simple puzzle where you have to arrange the wiring in such a way that you can connect from one terminal to the other. This is a basic child’s play puzzle that you can complete in no time.
Main Story Mission #9
There are two puzzles in the eight main mission of the game. the details of both are below:
Puzzle #1 – Entrance Code of Dam
The console where you have to input the code to enter the Dam is 91455 with the name of Raven.
Puzzle #2 – Unlock the Padlock to the Dam
There is a locker that is locked with a padlock in the Dam area. The code is 514. Meanwhile, there is also a locker in the Laundry where the code is 222.
Main Story Mission #10
There is just one puzzle in the tenth main story mission of the game. the solution to it is detailed below:
Puzzle #1 – Restaurant Puzzle
This is a pretty straightforward and easy puzzle. All you have to do is match the valves to the patter shown above it on the picture. Make sure the white lines correspond exactly as shown and you will have this puzzle completed.
Main Story Mission #11
There is just one puzzle in the eleventh mission of the game. The details of it are below:
Puzzle #1
When you come across a room with computers, you will have to insert a code in the computer with the cam screens on it. The code is oxcart.
