Curaga Records has partnered with Materia Music to bring music albums of Detlraune, Dark Souls, and Persona 5. This comes as two games, Dark Souls and Persona 5 celebrate anniversaries.
All the game albums can be listened to on Spotify, but you can also get the exclusively gold pressed vinyl for Dark Souls, CD, and vinyl for Nier, and Deltarune.
In celebration of these anniversaries, the two music production companies have announced the following albums:
Video Game LoFi: Deltarune Chapter 2
From Curaga Records, Video Game LoFI: DELTARUNE Chapter 2 is a collection of chilled-out tracks taken from Deltarune, the role-playing game from developer Toby Fox. Song features on the album include “Girl Next Door”, “A CYBER’S WORLD”, “My Castle Town” and more. DELTARUNE CHAPTER 2 celebrates its one-year anniversary on September 24th.
NieR: Become As Gods
This collection of dark, polished tunes inspired by 2017’s NieR:Automata celebrated its fifth anniversary on September 1st. From artists ROZEN + REVEN, NieR: Become As Gods features 11 unique covers featuring orchestral pop, heavy-hitting strings, electric guitar and a variety of vocals from REVEN
Persona 5 and Dark Souls
Changing the world takes heart and you can feel that sentiment when listening to composer Shoji Meguro’s upbeat Persona 5 soundtrack. With a collection of multi-faceted, epic tracks that fans of the game will surely remember even after 6 years, the Persona 5 soundtrack is as well known as the title itself.
Also celebrating anniversaries this month are Dark Souls, which just had its 11 year anniversary on September 22nd and Persona 5 which celebrated its 6 year anniversary on September 16th. One of the most critically acclaimed games of all time, Dark Souls launched in 2009 and influenced hundreds, if not thousands, of games that followed. Dark Souls features a sinister and brooding soundtrack from original composer Motoi Sakuraba.
